Prime Grand
Project Summary
This prime development is a 34 storey + Ground + Lower Ground apartment building with parking up to level 4. The development will be 136m high above the ground level after completion. The Podium level at level 5 provides common facilities and above the podium level, all floors are typical.
The CSEC Team initially developed a conceptual structure which consisted of a piled raft foundation system at the lower ground level where all level above are suspended floors. The 6th floor transfers the loads of walls above to the foundation through columns. The primary building material for the structure is concrete.
The project in itself is quite a breakthrough as it’s the first of its kind to come up in a highly residential area in the heart of Colombo. It is now in the construction stage and has completed approximately 6 floors with over 30 floors more to go.
